PTA & Volunteering

Parent Teacher Association

Would you like to become a member of our PTA? We meet once every half-term for around an hour. As a member of the committee you will be involved in all kinds of school events, like the School Fete and the Halloween Disco. It is also a great way to help raise funds for the school!

You don’t need any particular experience, just enthusiasm and plenty of ideas. If you are interested in joining please speak to a member of staff in the main Reception or Admin office.

The PTA also has a Facebook page with more information on how you can help to support Rose Hill Primary School.

Volunteering

Volunteering is an incredibly rewarding way to improve the lives of children. Gaining experience working with children can help you decide if teaching is right for you and can even help to support your application to courses and jobs in education.

We provide many opportunities for volunteering here at Rose Hill Primary School, from hearing children read to supporting them with their learning in all aspects of their curriculum.

All staff members and anyone who volunteers with us undertakes training in child protection and this training is refreshed every three years in line with Oxfordshire County Council’s safeguarding policy.

We also undertake comprehensive background checks on all staff and any volunteers for whom this is required (in accordance with OCC policy).

If you are interested in volunteering at Rose Hill, please complete the form via this link – Volunteer Application form, or if you have queries please contact Nuria Gutierrez Juarez on 01865 777937 or email volunteers@rosehillprimary.org.
