Modern Foreign Langauges
We use a DfE approved scheme called "Language Angels" to teach French and Spanish as our Modern Foreign Languages Curriculum.

English
We teach English through daily Reading, Writing, Spelling and Handwriting sessions. We use a scheme called Letter-Join for Handwriting, and a scheme called No Nonsense Spelling for teaching spelling.
Mr Johnson is our English Lead and Mrs Grace-Hayes is our Phonics Lead.

Maths
We base our daily Maths lessons on the White Rose Maths Scheme. EYFS and KS1 also complete daily Fluency sessions.

Humanities - History and Geography
We teach History and Geography during weekly lessons in all classes in KS1 and KS2, and through Understanding the World in EYFS.

Computing
We use the scheme 'Teach Computing' for all of our Computing lessons at school.

Physical Education
We use the scheme "Get Set 4 P.E." for our P.E. lessons.
Each class has one lesson taught by their class teacher, and one lesson taught by specialist coaches from Elite Youth Sports.
Swimming lessons take place using qualified teachers at the Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre.

Science
We teach Science through weekly lessons. We also participate in the River Learning Trust's Science Week. Our lessons often contain content from Explorify and STEM Learning.
Our Science Lead is Mrs Patel. She is also the Science Network Lead for RLT.
